- Buddy Program
- The Buddy Program pairs new residents and current residents to ease the transition into MIT and Westgate. If you would like to participate in the Buddy Program, either as a new or current resident, please contact the RFRO's at westgate-rfro

- Bright Ideas
- Propose an event and you may be able to get Westgate funds to make it happen! More details here.
- Boardgames
- Westgate owns several boardgames available to residents for a short-time rental. Details of the rental policy can be found here.
- Coffee Hour
- Westgate hosts casual coffee hours every Wednesday night at 9PM in the main lounge. Residents come to socialize, relax and watch TV or just enjoy the snacks and coffee.
- Floor Representative Program
- Floor representatives host small scale events with other residents on the same floor or in their entryway to help introduce new residents to the Westgate community and foster a neighborly atmosphere.
- Hot Grill Nights
- Hot Grill Nights are hosted every Friday night between May and September. Starting at 6PM, Westgate residents are invited to come down to the BBQ pits and grill their own food. The grills are run by members of the WEC and residents are encouraged, but not required, to enjoy their dinners outside with their fellow residents. Check the calendar for exact dates and times.
- Language Partners Program
- The Language Partners Program pairs English-speaking residents with others who want to learn or improve their English. The residents meet at their convenience to learn and practice both English and the residents native language. - Sports
- Westgate hosts a number of intramural sports teams during the year. Information on which sports we'll be playing and our schedules will be posted here as well as on the calendar during the term.
