Town Hall Meetings

Westgate town hall meetings are held on the third Thursday of every month at 7:30 P.M. in the main basement lounge. All residents are invited to attend. Dinner is provided.

The Westgate Executive Committee

The Westgate Executive Committee (WEC) is the representative body of volunteers acting to advance the interests of the Westgate Community Association (WCA) on the Graduate Student Council (GSC) and within the greater MIT community as described in the Constitution of the WCA. The WEC also organizes and hosts events and activities for Westgate residents and their families and oversees the usage and maintenance of Westgate's facilities. The current officers and their responsibilities are listed below:

	President Andrew Freese & Mia White westgate-presmit [dot] edu Andrew & Mia lead the WEC, conduct meetings, and are our representatives to the Graduate Student Council.
	Secretary-Treasurer Nadav Aharony & Maya Orbach westgate-sec-treasmit [dot] edu Nadav & Maya track action items, manage the budget and coordinate funding.
	Parents' Resource Coordinator Kevin Krsulich & Kaitlin Daly westgate-prcmit [dot] edu Kate & Kevin organize activities and serve as a resource for families with children. They also oversee the playroom.
	Couples' Resource Coordinator Olek & Kamila Mądry westgate-crcmit [dot] edu Kamila & Olek organize activities and serves as a resource for couples without children.
	Partners' Community Coordinator Chen-Hsiang (Jones) Yu & Lee-Chin (Julie) Leh westgate-pccmit [dot] edu Jones & Julie provide support for international residents and organize events for spouses and partners at home during the day.
	Recycling & Floor Rep Organizer Jeffrey Millman & Lily Jeng westgate-rfromit [dot] edu Jeff & Lily train floor representatives, run the buddy program, and provide resources on recycling to the community.
	Social Chair Hordur Johannsson & Gyda Gudjonsdottir westgate-socialmit [dot] edu Hordur & Gyda coordinate residents and WEC members to organize large events. They may also work with other campus groups.

Residential Life Programs

	Graduate Coordinators Jason & Anna Walther westgate-gcmit [dot] edu Jason & Anna work with both residents and Student Life Programs. They supervise Westgate mailing lists and lounge and barbecue reservations. They plan and host informational sessions for residents.
	Residential Life Associate Jason McKnight jrmacmit [dot] edu Jason collaborates with the house manager, WEC, and SLP. He is an advocate for residents in family housing and provides support for international student families. He is responsible for allocation of house funds.

Housing

House Manager Michael Collins tang-westgate-hmmit [dot] edu Michael manages maintenance and the custodial staff. He oversees the Tang front desk and assists in event planning and execution. His office is next to the lobby in Tang Hall.
